Hi,

I bought my Acura TL (A-Spec package) last year and I love it! But I installed a Cold Air intake which is amazing but the mechanic mentioned to me that I should have got 235/40/18 tires when i bought my car not 225/40/18. The mechanic said that the 225's can't hold the weight of the acura tl a spec and that it was illegal for them to deliver the car without the 235's, when I brought this up to my dealership they said normally everyone receives 235's but they can deliver it with 225's. I just want to know if someone can tell me if the mechanic is right? or have some sort of proof so I can go back to the dealership and get 235's?

I got 235/40/18 with my A-Spec... I think the mechanic is right.I have Yokohama ES100.. or you can go a bit more expensive if you want, I like the ES100 for the value
