A-Spec Q's

Can someone please provide a quick run down of A-Spec? I have read several posts and am confused about the following:

1) How much does it cost?

2) Can you pick and choose the components of it? i.e. can I elect to keep my existing 17" wheels, and pass on the ground effects, etc for discounted price?

3) The CT bar or whatever it's called; is this not a component of A-spec?

4) Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Jason

A lot of people will just tell you to search but i'll help you out....

1)I dont know exactly how much it cost for whole thing, but buying separately is cheaper. Theres a group buy for the aero body kit on hondacuraworld.com for $752, thats cheapest price you can get. For the suspension, Acura of Escondido on ebay has them for $600, also probably the best price, and for the wheels, they have them for $980 and the steering wheel for around $300. Just call them up if its not listed. Also for the wheels, they have them for $980 and the steering wheel for around $300

2)Yes you can buy the A-spec separately. The whole A-spec contains the suspension, wheels, aero kit, steering wheel. For the aero kit, its hard to come by to buy those parts separately like just buying the front lip.

3) I think you're referring to the Comptech Rear Sway Bar. Its not part of the A-spec becuase its made by Comptech not Acura. Its a popular mod on this board becuase its not expensive and does a lot for the handling of the car.

I would pick up the rear sway bar now, put it on and then decide if you want to upgrade the suspension. Sway bar and tires do a lot for the car but the ASPEC suspension is sweet.
