Spacers 20mm & 25mm
So I have 17in stocks an I plan on getting 20mm spacers up front and 25mm in the back and I have two questions.
Question 1: would I need to but extended lug nuts? Question2: I am stock height so I wouldn't need to roll my fenders right? |
A1: No
A2: Yes |
^^^ did you get the answers mixed up?
There are 2 types of spacers....one which ones with its own lugs...the other you will need extended lugs....so based on which one you get, you will get extended lugs since you are stock height you wont need to roll/pull/etc |

You're going to need hubcentric spacers

I have 20mm and 25mm and you do not need extended lugs And yes he does NOT need to roll his fenders |

I think OP meant extended studs and not lugs.
There are two types of spacers: the type that are basically just rings and use the original studs or the ones where you bolt the spacer onto the original studs and the spacer has its own. The latter are usually referred to as "v2". Here are a set of v2 from Ichiba: Attachment 114067 I'm not sure, but I think all 20 and 25mm spacers are v2 nowadays. So you shouldn't need extended studs. I had 15 and 20mm v2 spacers on mine with Aspec (18x8) rims and lowered about 1.5". No fender work needed at all. I went conservative and could easily have gone lower and wider. :2cents: I like the Akata spacers better. They cost a lot less and have stronger lugs. |

Attachment 114064 FOR THESE: you will need extended studs and I would buy open ended lug nuts....lot of work but a safer route.... Attachment 114065 |
Awsome! Thanks guys that really helped! How much do the ichibas run for?
|
i got both front and rear for 125 a pair from a local shop
|
I have the Ichibas v2 right now and they have been great. Might look into the extended studs in the future if I plan on running stockies for a long long time.
