So what color are these A SPEC Wheels I bought?

Just picked up a set on craigslist and at first I thought they were the gunmetal 04's but they were just really dirty. After some research I found out they have the TPMS so they have to be 06 but the part number seems to end in 880A ( see below )

Found this list posted on the forum
art#'s for the rims/years with or without TPMS in part# order:

04 A-Spec Gunmetal Rims (Not Available-Discontinued)

08W18-SEP-200 – (guessing 04 original 8.5” Grey Gun Metal?)
08W18-SEP-200B – 05 TL Satin Finish (A-Spec Kit Rims)
08W18-SEP-200C – 05 TL Chrome Look
08W18-SEP-200D – 05 TL Sparkle Silver
08W18-SEP-200E – 06 TL Satin Finish (A-Spec Kit Rims) TPMS
08W18-SEP-200F – 06 TL Chrome Look TPMS
08W18-SEP-200G – 06 TL Sparkle Silver TPMS

All rims are now 18x8 in series 200B - 200G.

Here are the rims I got... Any ideas??

sorry i can't answer your question, but just curious what the circled lines are:

i did find this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/ebony-chrome-18-specs-776306/#post12028820

which also has 880A, although the first 3 letters are different, the color may be the same (doesn't really look like it in the pictures though)

another link i found:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...601294618.html

again, chrome, but not necessarily ebony chrome, maybe 880a doesn't reflect the color

Those marks are hard to describe you cannot feel them even when running your nail over them but the seller said that he used a wheel cleaner once and the excess ran out and left the black streaks. Im pretty sure it removed the finish somehow but its so weird not like any finish i'm familiar with. I cleaned them all today but the streaks did not come out its almost like the cleaner reacted with the finish and turned black because there is no black undercoating.

interesting, a perfectly straight, perfectly centered line? seems hard to believe, but if you cant feel it and it isn't on the back too, shouldn't be anything to worry about... as for the color, i still have no clue, but they look good!

edit: if they were ebony chrome, they probably would have a black undercoat, as that is how the black chrome effect is done. BUT they really don't look like ebony chrome... and you could probably see/feel the top coat in those lines if it were a different paint layer

Ya the black marks are weird but not perfectly strait there are a few black spots too and there are some on all of the rims unfortunately. I want to figure out what color it is so I can try and find some touchup paint temporarily and possibly refinish them in the future.

those are for sure the ebony finish, thats what i have too. i think ebony is the best finish, followed by sparkle silver and then chrome-look a distant last. congrats, nice wheels.

Does anyone have pictures of the ebony vs. silver? When I see the factory pictures they look almost exactly the same. Also I've seen auctions with the same part number as the Ebony but listed as Platinum does anyone know if that is the same?

^ that makes sense, but when i saw them in person i was like daaamn they ugly. plus after hearing a couple people say how the finish peeled not long after buying them new, i wouldnt touch them with a 10ft pole. or soft sponge and soapy water for that matter.
