Also, you're using your financial aid (from college?) to pay for your rims? I would use my scholarship, but i'd rather pay $3000/semester (yay for in state tuition and lotz of scholarship!) at school than $8000/semester.

Finally, what does FTW mean? haha
in state as in RU?

Man, you should buy both Volks and Work! If you don't like any of them, just give it to me lol. And about the Privat Netz, you can give to "cookies" (brownie). I'm sure he will be happy for the rest of his life!

the rims you have on your car are already hot dude. i was thinking about getting those but never got to see them in person. how many inches is the lip on that. also do u think 20 by 10 would fit in the rear for those.

lip is 2 inches...i think with a 20x10 it's like a 3.5 inch lip... i dunno how it would fit though.... The Netz are the best rims at the best price IMO for the TL....

that's not the "real" gold color, it's a bright gold finish, like the ones you find on volk wheels. the lip is going to be about 2 inches because of the offset i need to get to clear the brembos. other colors are available...bascially any color you want for more $$ but i think standard colors are gold, silver, chrome, and black.... If you like them, get ready to pony up close to 4000 for rims and tires....i'm getting a PHAT deal on them though...

This is how my car currently looks...

I think your car looks great as is. Never did like gold...on anything, but enjoy your new wheels when you get them, and post some pics once they're on your car!

I almost ordered the VSXX last week. Great wheel choice. I am really jealous! I can't believe no one on the forum has these especially on a MT. Wheel options gave me a great price on these. 28XX shipped. You should give them a call, if you don't already have a better price. I can't wait to them on your ride.

Gold and White is sick but I'm not feeling those over your Privats..

Edit, I guess I should read the whole post first. The Work will look nice but will probably take forever to arrive.

I was told 3-4 months. That factored heavily into my decision.

Keep the Privatz, i'm actually considering buying that wheel, however in 20x8.5 w/+38 offset. Do you think I'll rub or need spacers? your car looks nice and clean, i would def keep as is.

i'm getting the Work VS-XX for under 2400 but yeah it's a 3-4 month wait, but custom offset, hub centric, it'll be phat i'm not sure if the 20x8.5 will rub,,,i don't think so as long as you stick with a 245/35/20 tire or something +38 offset should be fine...i'm running a +30 to clear the brembos...if you have brembos i'm don't think a 38 will work

It's almost like your current wheels in bronze lol. I do think they look nice though (nicer than the netz) that lip is pretty crazy though. Probably what I like the least...

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out!

I'm eventually going for a gunmetal look...
