Unhappy Second Thoughts on Tire Size

First Shoofin' now Adam...all backing down from going with 235's and ending up with 225. This is really screwing with my plans now..talk about second guessing my decision! The bad thing is the guy at the tire shop says if they mount and it don't fit, they can't take the tire back! WTF???? So what do you guys think? Take the chance?

I am in the same dilemma. I am probably going to go with the 225s just to be safe. Unless I know that the 235s will not rub for sure, it's not worth the risk for only a little more width.

if ur dropped with comptech's, most likely u will have rubbing even with 225's(i cant speak for those who are not dropped). however, when i put on 225's and had some rubbing i hunted down the small platic piece sticking out of the bumper in the rear and shaved it off. this is not a big deal, and will take a dremmel and about 5 minutes of your time. its not visible, and the only way u know that something was done is because u did it . since then no rubbing. I am now running 235's front and rear and there is absolutely no rubbing.

hope this helps.
