Hope this helps

Sorry about your wheels
My wheels were scratched in a car wash, I called 1-888-666-1340 (Alloy Wheel Repair specialists, INC.) A guy came to my house in a truck and trailer and fixed the wheels perfectly on site and at a very reasonable price.
I checked the website and there are many places in NJ. Good luck!! www.mobilewheelrepair.com

I gotta tell ya, I have had cars with alloy wheels for 20 years and I have always scratched or scuffed an alloy wheel no matter how careful I was. Sooner or later you'll get bit. What this site offers looks amazing if these guys can do what they claim on their web page. New alloy wheels cost an arm and a leg so if they can fix the wheel at a reasonable price well

If I had scuffed or scratched alloy wheels I would, beyond a shadow of a doubt, give this process a try.

If this company can really fix a scuffed/scratched alloy wheel as good as what they show in their before and after pics on their web site . . .

(No, I don't work for these people. I'd never heard of them before reading jazzpicker's post)

Monk, I had minor scratching of 3 rims, I was able to repair 2 of the rims but the 3rd had deeper scratches and needed to be repainted. The total cost of repair was $40. The cost would have been higher if the damager was more severe...

Check the link that I sent you on my first post and you can see all the places in NJ where this service is available..I looked and there were many places in NJ. You should have no problem. Again, good luck..

Does anyone know if the A-spec rims are an exact match for Anthracite? Just eyeballing them on my car it looks like it. If so, has anyone tried using Antracite touch-up paint on a nick or scratch?

I am sure you can get factory touch up paint for your rims at Acura...The tire guy told me that scratched acura rims were very common and he carries the paint at all times.

I have used the Anthracite touch-up on the wheels. The Anthracite is close, but a little darker. Good for small scratches or knicks.

Well, I did try them, and they live up to their advertising. I had three not-so-deep scratches in one wheel. They picked it up at my local Acura dealer this morning and dropped it off at my office at 3:30 this afternoon. The wheel looked brand spankin' new. $75, and it was well worth it.

They do tell you: No driving on them for eight hours, no highway speeds for 24 hours (the paint and clear-coat need time to set properly). So, I'll be on the doughnut until tomorrow afternoon. (Remember to turn VSA off when you use the doughnut.)

I bought mine with a couple of wheels scratched, the dealership had both fixed at no cost and it was done on site while the scheduled service was done. I dropped it of at 11am and told the guy I would be back with their car about 5pm. I made it there at 4pm and to my suprise it was all done and looks like their was never any damage. Gotta love that!!!

well i verified my own question... the wheel/tire protection does not cover cosmetic items... (of course)... it only covers major damage, bends, breaks, etc... the wheel 'cannot function as a wheel' to be covered under the insurance...

anyways, i got my rim repaired by Acura, actually they sent it out to a 3rd party... but got it back today and I can't even tell anything was ever wrong.. the desired outcome... it was scuffed in 2 places, 1 semi deep... cost was $137 in dfw.
