My wife drove my new TL (2K miles) today and she parked too close to the curb. About a quarter of the right front wheel (just the rim) and the tire were scrapped. Do I need to worry that it would be out of balance/alignment. Can the wheel be fixed or do I need to buy a new one?

Usually the wheel specialist could fix it and make it look as new one.



Plus, next time when you up to replace your tires, get something better than EL42s with more rim protection.

You may ask them, I think one of main works for those wheel shops is to repair rims.
