RV6 strut bar

i know im prolly gonna get hated on but ive looked and cant really find any posts about using it over using the stock strut bar on a base model. i have a comptech rsb and was looking to get the rv6 front strut bar. is it a waste and the wrong direction to go or will it help out?

this comes in handy for people with TEIN SS EDFC....since the RV6 strut bar is EDFC motors compatible....

when i was looking into progress rear sway bar a good friend told me this "do you feel you need to change the handling of the car? if your answer is NO then dont waste your money"

Looks better to me but the stock bar is just as light and stiff. I like mine.

I just took off my stock bar to run my EDFC wiring and I didn't remember how light it was. There is little if any weight advantage to the RV6 bar that I have so I can install the EDFC motors.

Other than that, I can't see any other advantage except for looks.

You have a stock strut bar so there will be no performance advantage to an aftermarket one, only aesthetic. It can serve a functional purpose if you have the TEIN EDFC installed.

It sounds like you're trying to compare a swaybar to a strut bar. One is a torsional spring, a part of the suspension that limits body roll and the other is a frame brace that has nothing to do with suspension and body roll. If you want something to compliment the rsb, look into a Type S fsb or even an H&R fsb.
