Rubber insert on compliance bushing

Rubber insert on compliance bushing
I just picked up a pair of Mevotech front lower arms for my 08 TL-S. The look pretty legit, however there is this rubber insert that came installed on the front compliance bushings on both arms, one was installed perfect, but the other was hanging halfway out, at first I thought it was just some leftover rubber from the molding, but then looking closer, it really looks like it is supposed to be there. Attached are pics, if anyone has an answer for me, lemme know! Thanks!

OEM ones don't have that to my knowledge, just wasn't cut off properly...

I seem to remember my (Acura Genuine) Type S bushings having that insert.
Its for additional stiffness. That's cool that Mevotech is using that. Maybe they changed suppliers or maybe they improved the design.
Their previous LCA design had extremely soft compliance bushing material.

This alleged OEM one, offered on amazon, appears to have it.
