Rotate Wheels

The dealership said the car will tell my when to rotate my tires but I rotated them before I knew that so I was trying to find out how to reset the tire rotation on the computer (like you would when you change the oil) otherwise how would it know I rotated the tires?

Next question my readings on the computer about the tire air pressure, are they in the correct postion or are they now displayed backwards (in the display) now that I rotated the tires?

Don't worry about the tire rotation per the MID; just rotate them as needed. Besides, you can't reset just part of the maintenance minder. If you want to follow the MID 100%, just rotate them again when it calls for it and follow the MID from that point forward...it won't hurt a thing to rotate them again that soon.

The pressures are where the tires are; they are in the correct position.

When the MID gives you the maintenance due notice, it will give you a code. You then look up the code in the owner's manual and it tells you what maintenance to perform. The tire rotation usually goes along with the oil change. Something like A1 or A2, I can't remember which one it is. There is no separate tire rotation notice.

I figured if they have the technology to read the air pressure, that it would read in the right place, but I just wanted to make sure LOL

I wouldnt go by what the MID says, i personally think that it lets things go a little long without service. I change my oil and rotate and balance my tires around every 3k miles, just to stay ontop of things! Im sure it would cost alot of money for the average person, but for me its free, and im sure it wont cost you much either!
