Always been a fan of the design, i think they are Reps of Work Emotion?
I think people go little overboard with quality Reps, just buy within your budget and be happy. But you do pay for what you get but most of here arent trying to win car shows or race professionally.

Haha, I've yet to see any other tl's with rotas other than me ![Sad](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif)
Anyways, I havent had any problems with my torques for the 3 months that I've had them![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)
Basically if you really care about wheels and the whole "AUTHENTIC" jdm crap, just save up 500 bucks and get work emotions. If not, I dont see whey you shouldn't get torques. It's not like they're all gonna break right when you drive them. I'm guessing the pictures above were cause by at least an accident.

Personnally, if you like the wheels then go for it. Most members on this forum
buy high-end wheels because they can afford it. If you can afford an Acura TL then most likely you can afford buying high-end wheels.
Now don't be put off just because some members keep on beating the dead horse
and recirculate pics of the the damaged Rota wheels.
Don't be mislead tho. The pics of the Rota Torque on EBAY are not what your
actually going to get. In order to get that concave/deep look you will have
to go with the staggered fitment. Even with the 18x8.5in wheel the face of the wheel will still be flat. You will have to get the 18x9.5 with either a +30, +32, or +35 wheel offset to get the concave/deep look. 18x.9.5 won't fit up front. Only in the rears.
My suggestion:
18x8 or 18x8.5 (front only) with the +35 wheel offset
18x9.5 (rear only) with either +30, +32, or +35 wheel offset
You won't be able to rotate your tires if you run a staggered fitment setup.
You won't be able to lower your TL more than 1.5in all around as well. You may have to roll your fenders.
As for tires... that's another topic that you will have to do a search on. You can go as wide as 275/35R18 or 285/35R18 in the rear. BTW, staggered fitments are not recommended on a FWD car but it can be done.
Why do I know this? Because if it will make you feel better... I'm looking at getting some Rota Torques for my winter setup.
I already spent $4000 on wheels & tires just a few months ago and now it's time to switch them out for the winter. I feel a lot better buying wheels that won't cost me so much if I were to ruin the wheels during the winter. Below in my signature is my current wheel & tire setup. Good luck!

Actually 18x9.5 +35 fit the front
But if you have a manual it won't fit
I vote for 18x9.5 +35 all around w/ 255/35-18 tires
I was in your same shoes over a year ago... Rota's are dirt cheap, so cheap that bend or crack one and a replacement is under $200 away and the best part under 48hours to your door
Ps. Rota's are actually very popular wheels... And most importantly they are fairly lightweight... Some of their models are 1lbs per inch while others are a tad bit over 1lbs per inch
