Rota Rims

I have gotten mixed reviews on them. People think they are horrible rims that break and bend, while others say they are great and have never experienced any of these failures. I have also heard arguments that Rotas will obviously break and bend on vehicles that have build engines running at 500 whps and tracking it or circuit racing.

What are you opinions, because some of their models are nice and it would be a shame if this is true for the majority of their rims and not only the small 2 or 3 percent.

The old addage is that "You get what you pay for".

Save up a little more and get something better. I'm not talking like Work, Volk, HRE kind of $$$, I'm talking like TSW, Axis, Enkei kind of $$$.

The wheels will be stronger, less likely to bend and crack, will look like they're better quality, and have a better resale value if you decide to sell them later on.

I think it's just for show. If you plan to do some hardcore tracks dont get them.

If money is a concern and it's in your price range then go for it. You can get some good wheel & tire package deals from the guys at Rota. You've been warned tho... you really get what you've paid for!

I agree... Except I would stay away from TSW. They are known as "The Soft Wheel" for a reason

Im a fan of TSW's style but they do seem to bend fairly easily. If you are looking for quality wheels and have the money, Id suggest RJ (RonJon Wheels), Volk, or HRE.

^ if money didn't matter then I am sure no one would go with Rotas over Volk wheels.

I guess it is what you pay for but how do you drive your car. If you track it and drive it hard and don't try not to hit pot holes, then don't get the rotas. If you drive like a normal person then rotas will be just fine.
