Rolled Fender Pics

So I've been reading up on rolling fenders trying to decide if I need to do that for a new set of rims/skins. Still haven't decided what size i need? I know I want 18" or 19" rims at stock ride height but offset and tire size are still up in the air as I have yet to decide on what will clear my brembo's, clear the fenders, and stay close in overall diameter.

That aside, I went out to inspect my fenders and this is what I found on the rears (yeah yeah my car is filthy - its' been snowing):

found some nice little rock chips

so it looks as if the rear half of the rear fenders on both sides are already rolled. It begs the question as to did the previous owner do it purposefully or did it happen accidentally from tire rub?

Any of you that have experience with rolling your fender can tell from these pics? Do you typically roll the entire length of the fender or just the rear area? I also noticed that the front fenders are nothing like the rears and already have a rolled finish to them. Maybe thats common?

Thanks for shedding some light on the subject!

you know the TL has half rolled fenders from factory lol. your pictures are exactly like how every single TL that comes out of the factory. next time you see a TL parked somewhere just feel under the gap and I guarantee you'll feel the exact same thing. just dont let the owner see you doing it, they might think you are hiding a gps tracker in the wheel well lol

Ha ha......that's funny. I didn't know that they came that way. Hence why I posted up pics. Thanks for the lesson. Now I gotta decide if I want/need to do the front half or not.

Depends how bad u want it rolled, the rear is harder then fronts. Rear on the TL is thick and in order to get it FLAT i had to get mine slightly pulled and pounded out. So I rolled, hammered flat, and pulled slightly.
