Smile roll fenders or different tires

Guys, i picked up some Work Seekers in 20 inch size. The offset is +40 all around and im rubbing on cornering. Should i be ok with rolling my fenders or should i have skinnier tires. Which option did you go with if you have the same type of setup.

Staggered setup with 1.5 inch lip in front and 3 inch in back

Front 20x8.5 245/35/20
Rear 20x9.5 275/35/20

lowered on H&R race springs 2 inch front/1.75 rear

Thanks for any feedback in advance!!

I'm no expert, but I'd opt to roll the fenders... I have Work 8.5" and 9.5" with 245 and 275 on my other car, so I can tell you that 245 and 275 are the optimum width tires for those rim widths. If you go narrower, you'll end up with a "stretched" look, which I personally hate...

This was on my G35 that I have those wheels, so I didn't need to do anything. But I have seen people run them on TLs with fender rolling. Not sure what offsets they had, so I do'nt know if rolling will solve all your problems in particular. But I would think a good shop should be able to look at it and tell you.

I would start with rolling and maybe pulling fender. Also if its in the front there is pieces you may want to trim as well. If that doesnt work then you may want to go down in tire size. Im running 225/35s on the 19x9s and its barely any stretch. But it helps with clearance enough.

pull and roll the fender. Its a much cheaper option and you could be rubbing the fender lining. I was having the same issue's, all i did was remove it and now there is no rubbing at all.
