Rim paint color?

Has anyone had any luck at finding the correct color to match the stock wheels? We've already scuffed both right side rims. I've managed to smooth out the scratches, but now I need to cover up the exposed aluminum. I've called the dealership and searched this forum, but nobody seems to have an answer.

I'll even consider some aftermarket touch-up paint - so I'm hoping somebody has found a match.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

The do not need paint but buffing to get rid of scratch. Go to you regular wheel store and ask, they might do it in $50-70. Lot os people have.

Uh, no.

The blemishes are already polished out. Now it is just glossy raw aluminum. The stock wheels are painted and clear-coated - just like many motorcycle engines.

I'll have to resort to buying silver touch-up paint and match it by trial & error. I was hoping someone has already done this and could provide a paint code.

When I scratched one of my rims, a local body shop told me that Honda appears to use their "Satin Silver Metallic" paint on the wheels (yes, the same as the car), paint code NH-623M.

I bought a small bottle of a generic "honda-style satin silver metallic" to touch up my rims and it matched allright. NH-623M it is.

Just my 2 cents.

I thought the Desert Satin Silver that's used for the RSX matched the OEM 18" wheels, and while it's close, it is not a perfect match. But for small touchups it'll do a good job.

When you say Satin Silver metallic from Honda matches the rims...do u mean it matches TL's stock 17' five spoke wheel? I am kinda confused by some other threads.
