Right passenger axle

Ive been having issues with my 07 tl, I've been trying to replace the right passenger axle and no matter how many times I order a new one, it just doesn't fit, has anyone ever come across this problem? If so, any suggestion will help, I've gone to 5 different auto part stores and they all give me the same one which they used my VIN and manufacturer date to give me the "correct" one. But apparently its not, doesn't fit no matter which way I try. Not even my local mechanic can figure it out

What's the difference between the replacement and OE?
Picture side by side?
Part number ordered/store?

From personal experience. I've never had problems buying axles from the dealership. On the other hand, buying from an auto parts store has always yielded great stories of hardware installation troubles.

Is the spline different? Are they not the same length?

50% of the time, you are going to have out of balance issue with re-grind axles from auto stores. I suggest you don't do that and get an OEM. My OEM axles lasted me 180k miles. I only changed them because the driver's side was damaged from hitting a pot hole.
