Ride quality with VSA on/off 2008 TL-S
Just wondering if anyone besides me noticing that with the VSA off, the ride is smoother. Most noticeably when driving over bumps in the road. I found this to be the same with my 14 Focus ST when turning off the ESC.

Maybe I'm completely wrong, but VSA has absolutely nothing to do with the ride of your car, none, zero, zip, nada.

^^ This. VSA is essentially just traction control, to minimize wheel spin during cornering and accelerating. In order to get a "smoother" ride you'd need to be able to adjust the shocks and we have simple hydraulic, nitrogen filled shocks. Nothing even close to electronically/magnetically controlled ride suspension like in newer cars. |
3G doesn't have active suspension so any ride quality changes you notice are purely placebo ;)
