Ride quality on larger than stock wheels

I'm looking into possible getting some 19's but I dont want to sacrifice ride quality over looks; I feel like I could have both with a 18's however.

We take long trips and ride is definately more important than looks

go with 18's....like you said, best of both worlds.
19's are nice looking, but require alot more careful driving and your road surfaces to be well maintained.
