Request for cheap/decent winter tires.
Well I learned my lesson trying to drive in snow with the potenza RE030.
So could anybody just tell me what kind of tires I should get for winter? I'd like good snow traction would don't want to sacrifice any dry/wet traction at all. More like a decent sport tire that has good wet/snow traction. And doesn't cost a whole lot of money (less than 500 for the set from tirerack, preferably less)
Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
-edit- I see load of recommendations for tires, but I really don't wanna spend a lotta dough on winter tires. It only snows here a few times a year (louisville, KY).

Snow Tires
I just ordered Goodyear Ultra Grip GW3 tires from Tires.com. They are just a little less wide and slightly smaller diameter, both good things when going with snows. They were $139 each with free shipping. You will find that a lot of online retailers are out of stock by now. Good luck and I will post how good they are when we get snow here in New Jersey! Happy New Year!
