The OEM wheels are made by Enkei, a reputable wheel company. Those are aftermarket and who knows who manufactured them. You get what you pay for.

I bought some about a year ago from someone local brand new. I have no complaints about them and seem to hold up just fine, only thing is that they are a little darker then the normal charcoal type s wheel but other then that they are a good wheel for the price!

I dont have them but have read some good things on this forum. Like S2kTl6 said they are a shade darker than the OEM Type S wheel color which IMO actually looks pretty cool.

Yes. I really hate those copy rims' weight. They weigh even more than Chrysler SRT's 20x9 OEM rims. With that price, you can get a set of lightweight rims from discount tire direct..

I was going to purchase OEM copy rims too (for winter), but DTD rims were so cheap and there was $80 rebate so I just got MB weapon rims and used OEM set for winter.
(and the lightweight helps improve ride quality and traction on rough surface too)

offset is 42 so only 3mm more than OEM (you don't even notice it. I have the bronze one)

I bought a set of the replica type s rims last night from Tabbacco road auto.
I would rather have new fake ones instead of spending double to triple on real new ones or real used ones that have been trashed.

I'm getting new tires the day after they come in.
I have an anthracite Tl so I think the dark charcoal color rims will look good

Jacob G any pics of them installed?
Ok guys I just Got these Friday. They are darker than the oem wheels. I purchased
Type S center caps for these wheels, but they are too light for them so I'm
going to just paint my stock center caps Gunmetal to match.
Got mine for $510 shipped. I will post some pics once installed this Tuesday.
This darker wheel color would look so badass on a white TL.

I was going to buy replicas. Placed the order and they called me saying they were on back order and refunded me my money. I then found some local but weren't in new condition. Kind of wished I waited. I may pick these up and sell my genuine type s wheels.

Sorry but go GENUINE honda. This is like REAL volks vs FAKE volks.
I found a brand new genuine set locally.
On the Bm you can find a gently used set every now and then.

STOP promoting knock offs !

Who cares seriously? You act like people care what other people think. You drive a tl not a Porsche or gtr. I'll take a rim in better shape any day of the week knock off or not.

Exactly... who cares. The real deal is rare to find in the condition I find favorable to buy. I am looking to get waffles as my first set of wheels for my TL and the rep's or reconditioned wheels fit my budget perfectly.

Some people get their Jim Jim's in such a rustle over something so small.

where did you get your wheel sensors? if you are running them...I bought replica tl type s wheels and the oem sensors and they don't fit with the wheels. there is slop in the sensor because the nut bottoms out before it tightens up...

How's the durability of the finish on the Type S replica wheels?
Could those that have tried these Type S replicas report on how the finish is holding up and how long you've owned the wheels?

I just realized that both of those websites have the same phone number, and the price for 4 wheels is the same.

I've had them for a couple months and through some wintery/salty roads and they are holding up great. Of course I am ocd as hell on keeping my car clean so results may vary lol!

But seriously these wheels are great... I got the from Tobacco road/LKQ in NC.

I hear ya. Haha
I bought eBay lugs and got thru last winter with them. Believe it or not, they still look pretty good(maybe a little faded). I'm going to keep them on again this winter, and then get another black set. I'm sure they'll look crappy after 2 winters.
I'll prob get the black S2000 lugs...
