Replace struts?

I have a 2007 Base TL with 68,XXX miles. It's my wife's car and she drives it mostly. I replaced the tires at 40,XXX miles, with Falken 912's and the inside of the tires are bald already. Supposedly Evans tire aligned the car when they replaced the tires and I've rotated them every time the oil is changed (around 5000 miles). The guy at Evan's told me the tires are bald because the struts are worn and I need to replace them. The car rides fine, but should I replace the shocks and struts? Any good places to buy the parts? I'm not looking for performance parts since this is my wife's car. I did a little looking online, and can't find many options.

Thanks

Nothing wrong with the struts, just a bad alignment. I'd say the toe is set incorrectly, unless heavy loads are carried in the trunk.

I'm at 68k and my shocks are showing signs of wear with a "floaty" feel on the highway, but I'm very sensitive to my car. I'd bet yours are there as well, but they should still be ok for some time. However, that's not your problem, as TN stated. By you stating that they "supposedly" aligned it when the tires were replaced, I'm guessing you don't have a printout of the specs?
