Recommendation Springs and struts?
So reading threads here and there about different setups is getting confusing. There is so much out there I'm not quite sure what to do. But here's my question... I wanna lower my TLS about 1.25 inches, but concerned with how the kansas city metro streets will punish the car after the drop. Kinda on a budget but I know better than to go cheap. I really don't care to drop a grand for coil overs even though I know they are the best choice. I was looking at TIEN Springs but there are a shit ton of options. I don't wanna destroy my ride comfortability but want better than average cornering and I may hit the drag strip a few times this year. Please and thank you for your suggestions.

The Tein Street Advance allows you to adjust your damping I believe, so that's the set to get if you're considering price, and trying to use them for comfort and racing. I bought the BC Racing's and absolutely love them, but they're a bit more than the Tein's.
If you get BC Racing, skip the Swift springs, no one seems to know what they do other than to look pretty.

A grand would get you a set of top of the line coil overs. You said you know better than to go cheap so you have the right idea. So that means springs are out of the question. Tein Street advance Coils all the way. I have Tein street basis. They are a step down from the advance. I like them. But it sounds like the street advance would best meet your needs as you would be able to not only, adjust your ride height exactly to what visually looks good to you, but adjust your dampening settings so you can still have a comfortable ride. I think they are around $600.
Also, I commute from southern Overland Park to downtown KCMO (by sprint center) daily for work. I have had no issues with the roads and I am close to maxed on my coils (I'm running less than a finger gap between tire and fender.) You just have to drive careful and look out for speed bumps and pot holes, as you would with ANY lowered vehicle regardless of what city you are in. KC streets are not bad at all we really have no reason to complain. Try talking to some of the guys on here with lowered TL's that daily drive in Chicago or New York City... The roads there are WAY worse than here.
