Recent Strut Replacement Troubleshoot - 06' TL

Hey guys, I Just moved to Seattle where the roads are terrible. My TL was back-breaking to drive with all the potholes. This 06' TL had 130K, so I dove in an replaced all four struts (KYB's) hoping to ease the pain. I haven't noticed any difference in ride, just improved cornering. Wondering if I should have replaced the springs too. Any feedback?

Also, I'm hearing major front end squeaking while turning at low speeds. Local guys who did the re-alignment put it on the lift and said everything looked fine and to possibly tighten the top nut on the strut (manual stated 22lbs. I believe). The noise started after strut replacement, so I was hoping to rule out ball joints??? I think I aligned the strut correctly into the rubber pads, so I'm not sure what else it would be. Any thoughts before I rip it all apart again?

Thanks for any feedback! I'm new to the site, so I apologize if I posted incorrectly. Thanks!

If it wasn't squeaking before you changed the struts then I think your problem is most likely the struts...if it was me, I would have replaced the entire assembly (shock/strut) with A-Spec Suspension.
