Rear Wheels (18x7.5 40m) are rubbing on a not lowered 03 TL-S
Sup Guys,
I have a 2003 TL-S not lowered I have installed a 18x7.5 with a 40m offset. While vehicle is loaded and going over a dip the rear wheels will rub the wheel opening of the rear quarter panel. Does any one have a solution to correct this? All recommendations please. Anything like installing stiffer springs what type, rolling the quarter panel and what ever else.
Thanks for your help

Sell Them. A +40 offset for 18x7.5 is WAAAAY too low. There's nothing you can do to stop the rubbing. You can try shaving the fender, but I still think that the offset is too low to do anything about it.

Yeah, I would try to sell them. Got any pics of the wheels? If they are not sticking out passed the fender then you can try rolling them. Technically they should be sticking out 5 mm more then the correct size of 18x7.5 +45 offset. Which doesn't seem like much, but it is. I'm thinking that the fender lip is about 1 cm, maybe even a little more. So if you roll that, logically speaking it should correct your problem. Post some pics so we can take a closer look. If they are already sticking out past the fender you are SOL.
