Rear Tires rubbing with ASPEC rims and suspension
On my 2005 TL when I have rear seat passengers my rear tires are rubbing on the fenders. I have gunmetal ASEC 18x8.5" wheels with 245/40-18 tires and the APEC suspension. Anyone else have this issue? I so what is the best way to resolve it.

^That's what I was thinking.
Do you rub when there's no one in the car? That's totally different than rubbing when the car is full of people and stuff. No matter if you're on stock suspension or dropped, if your car is loaded up with shit, you're most likely going to rub.

265 tires, A-Spec auspension and 8,5 rims...
No rub even when loaded.
Car: 2004 TL Dynamic
Tires: Yokohama Envigor 265/35/18
Rims: 2004 A-Spec 18x8,5
Suspension: A-Spec
You shouldn't have any problem with 245/40/18.

A bad shock is the most logical thing I can think of! Are you the original owner? Did you install the ASPEC kit? Check the rear sway bar and the bushing that hold the bar, just a thoght.

I can't think of any other problem. It is strange, but I would give a more detailed check to the rear shocks, you may find the problem covered by the shock rubber sleeves. In addition, the springs may have lost their productive life.

That's a great idea. I can definately repeat the rub however I need to have 4 people in the car and go over cetain roads that cause the rub. I'm already thinking about replacing the suspension with a new ASPEC set I saw on eBay for $635.00 shipped w/ no tax.

Replacing all the springs and shocks seems to have done the job. The dealer how installed the new suspension said the front compliance bushing are torn and wants $580.00 to replace them. I haven't had them done until I can check into it a little bit as the cost seems really high given the parts are about $50.00

Dude...there's a HUGE thread on this. I don't see why this would cause you to rub unless they meant when you take a huge curve and the tires lean out.

Will cost you parts and some time and a machine shop.

The suspension replacement fixed the rub. The dealer was pointing out the torn bushing as maintenance issue and not a factor in the rubbing. Thanks for the link I haven't decided if I'm going to try it my self or take it somewhere to have it done.
