Rear suspension "knock" when going over sharp bumps
Not quite how to even explain this...
Last evening with 3 of us in the car (570 pounds of people), my 2 friends swore they heard a knock/bang coming from my left rear suspension area (sounded like right to me!) when I would go over a moderate bump in the road. (they were small in-housing-plan speedbumps basically) Over smaller bumps, and most of the time I heard nothing. Occasionally I could hear "something" but I have no clue... Definately at the down side of the bump.
I do indeed have the comptech swaybar installed and I made sure everything was tight with respect to that...
Perhaps it could be something in the trunk banging? It sure as hell can't be bottoming out or anything (I have stock non-aspec suspension). I would suspect that it is VERY unlikely that any other suspension members came loose in any capacity...
Next step was to remove everything and anything in the trunk and see if the sound goes away I suppose...

I have the exact same thing going on.. I have the comptech sway bar and springs installed.. my friends a great mechanic and he went over all suspension components to make sure everything is fine.. not to worry... i think it's coming from the rear deck..
