Raised TL .75'', huge difference
I had to do it!! Way too much rubbing and way too much rubbing because the alignment was way out of spec!! Had it raise 3/4 ’’ and everything lined up…alignment is within spec and I think the rubbing issue is handled. With the TEIN SS it rode real smooth even when slammed…rides even better now. When I find someone who will either roll or shave my fenders, I am going to drop it again. Until then, this will have to do. Here are before and after shots…
Before…
After…
You can almost see the pinstripe in this one…
I had a sign shop make a custom sticker for the bumper (only $19) tried to match the charcoal color in the grill and lip…

He measured differently than others...he took a measurement from the wheel center to the fender lip. It was 12.75'' now it is 13.5''. If I were to guess I would say 1.5'' net in back and 1.75'' net in front, but that is only and est. It took him less than an hour to adjust and $70. What is the set-up on your car...looks pretty low, how do you like it and how is it working for you?

I debated that as well. Choose TEIN because of adjustability...heigth and dampening. Really, really happy with it. Hope I don't run into any warranty issues, although I already have 42K plus miles...so only another 30K until it won't matter. It is costly to do wheels, tires and drop...I have over 4K into it w/RSB and install costs...but, it is a blast to drive
Now I am working on my Zapco system install write up and pics...hope to have it up later this evening. Have you done anything to your sound system? Mine is unbelievable now...seriously studio quality stuff.

i like the sticker on the front bumper with the acura. i have a black onebut i might want to change it to a different color. do you have a clear bra on your car, if you dont and decide to lower it even more, you should get one.

Thanks, I went to a local sign shop...they custom made it for $19...was able to pick the color, etc...$19, not bad for a one off

Well, the system is done...WOW!!! I am looking into entering it into an SQ competition in the Rookie division, I think it will do really well. Wish I could transmit the SQ to you, it is some hard core car audio equipment!! Now I am trasing down three rattles...I found two so far, can't figure out the third.
Anyway, check out the thread, doesn't seem to be too much interest, don't know why?

It is working really well!! I am very happy with the set-up. No rubbing, alignment is good (took it to the shop friday), and a real smooth ride. I think it has settled a little as well...here is a more recent pic. Getting the side and rear aspec this week, also setting up rrp headlights with ZKW lenses the beginning of Nov....should be real nice

I had the same problems you have with my 20's.......first week I had the 20's on, I damage two front BF Goodrich KDW tires. My alignment guy suggested that I should rise the car up about the height that you had to rise yours, and the problem was resolve and I had to spend $200 each for two new tires.

Regarding rolling the fenders, I looked all over town and noone was willing to do the job. Asked them if they would shave the fenders, same response. I'm in a fairly small community, only 100K people...so options are limited. So, until I can find someone to do it I have to stick with a little higher ride, although it doesn't look bad.

Yeah, I think it is the best way to go. To keep it real low requires rolling/shaving fenders and a camber kit. I've heard people talking about $125 per fender to roll/shave and the camber kit installed runs $500-$600...so, I'd have to spend another $1,000 plus to do it right. I can get DVD and Back-Up Camera's for that price and that is the plan
Hey K...I am getting the rest of the aspec kit this week and am working on color matched headlights...I'm trying to catch up with your ride!!

Thanks, yeah...I need to lower my front end another 1/4'' or so...great to have coilovers!! Unlimited adustments...
Let me know if you are able to find someone to do that and what process they use. RJ told me there is a special machine used specifically for rolling the fenders...noone in my area has it or is willing to do it.
Your aviator looks nice...looks like you have aspec and inspires as well. Nice car

^^^ Thanks, Ur right. Coilovers are the way to go.
There must be someone in your area that rolls fenders. i know you can buy the roller on Tire Rack for about $200. But its a one time thing though. Once u roll em, u'll never use that tool again, unless you use it for another car.
The Insypres compliment the car very well.
Btw, beautiful color. I love how the RRP shines

It looks good. I have the same problem, tried rolling my fenders, but the Brembo calipers are in the way. Didn't help much, I still rub on corners, even with the stock 17's. Do you rub while making hard turns, or going up a driveway?
