R: 18x9 (+38) F: 18x8 (+38) ????????

Hi all. I've read through alot of threads on wheel fitment but still haven't found my answer. So I'll just state it here and hope for some helpful replies. I'm considering running the following staggered setup on my '04 6MT TL:

Rear: 18x9 (+38) and either 245 or 255 wide tire
Front: 18x8 (+38) and either 235 or 245 wide tire

So, here are my questions:
  • Will this fit without any rubbing (Brembos)?
  • Will the staggered configuration mess up the handling (FWD)?

My motivation for going with 9" wide in the back is to achieve both a nice lip and to bring the wheels out to the fenders. TIA

i have 19x8 with +30 offset and it clears the brembos with about 5mm... yes it will mess up the handling....FWD cars then to understeer...adding wider tires in the rear will give the rear more traction which will provoke even more understeer
