Quick fitment question

[/IMG]

Hey guys im looking for some nice 18s for my 07 acura tl type s just wondering if I would be ok with this setup with 235/40 18 all around , id prefer 245 but I read on another thread 245 would rub in front also this way I could rotate my tires , im dropped on tien springs btw purchased the car this way later along down the line I'll make the switch to a nice set of coilovers thanks in advance, also would 18x8 be much more of a difference I found a good deal on some enkei rajin with 225/40 18 and if its not that much of a difference I might just get them

Take a deep breath and make your sentences make sense. So your specs are the following, correct?...

18x9.5, +28
5x114.3
73mm Hub Bore
245/40/18

First off, those wheels don't have the correct hub bore for the TL. The TL has a hub bore of 64.1mm and those wheels are 73mm. You need to find wheels that are the right hub bore or you can find adapters to make them fit correctly. Second, you'll most likely need to roll your rear fenders. The fronts will be fine, but the rear has a larger lip inside of the fender and you'll rub.

About the 18x8 Enkei Rajin with the 225s, it all comes down to the offset.

Yes, +38 will be fine. All 2004-2008 TLs have an offset of +45, so a +38 means the wheel will be 7mm closer to the fender. You'll be fine.

Yes. A warning light will appear on the dash if TPMS sensors are not installed.
