question of tires

i tried to search but couldn't find anything...

ok... we have 215/50/17 v rated on our tls...

what is the difference in handling with a thicker (bout 245) and an inch bigger .. 18?

the 3 series bimmers have those nice thick rear tires and it looks soo nice..
i've heard though that if you have larger tires, the turning radius is less.. is that true?

what happens if i put 225/50/18 on the front and 245/50/18 on rear? will the VSC start going crazy? what is the best tires to have in terms of performance, speed, handling?

thanks

I think that's a hint for you to use the "search feature" again because this topic has been discussed in depth earlier. :p

Click here to see what other members are riding on.

BTW - loose the staggered setup idea...it doesn't work well on FWD cars.

Yeah, there is a search feature here, so use it BTW, your car is FWD, so putting different sizes up front and back is very awkward.
