I want to put bigger tires on the rim and wonder if anyone has done this. The rim can take 245-40’s or 255 40’s with out a problem. I will put all season ultra high performance tire like the Toyo, Pirelli or Michelin. Living in Seattle it just doesn’t make since to get snow tires. Any if would be very much appreciated.

I purchased the 04 A-Spec wheels for my 05TL. I installed the Michelin Sport A/S 255/40/18 and have no probelms with rubbing. Next time however I would go larger to a 265 or even 275 and try to keep the 40 height if it fits.
