Possible suspension fix for compliance bushing

These are going on my car soon. I will keep you guys posted on how they work or dont work. My boyfriend is doing the install. Ill post a review with pictures soon.

My car clunks and wanders with factory parts. I have burned through lots of tires. It would be nice to see this gone. Although, i wont have my car too much longer, new car time is coming.

They are neither. I will post up the info once I get it all. I was sponsored through my boyfriend to see if they work on our car. He is very picky and i can tell you none of the options here impressed him compared to these pictured.

As it's been 4 1/2 years, and never an update, I guess they didn't perform as expected.
Her last post was August of this year, so still around.

I'm first generation born in the USA. Parents born and raised in Sicily, I lived in Italy. My grandfather was called Don Franco.
I don't recall authorizing a hit on her!
My name isn't Joecop67 because I'm a cop. It's short for Giuseppe Coppolino.

I am second generation born in the USA. My grandfather was born and raised in Sicily also (Palermo). I also don't recall authorizing a hit on her but my memory doesn't serve me as well as it used to.

3GTLCHICK sleeps with the fishes.

By the way, I have the Fastline/PCI compliance bearings and love them!

Hi guys, sorry for the absence. These work great and the worst part is the tire now rubs in the front. I was told there is added caster to the alignment and this is the reason for that.

Thanks for the update, but am I reading the reply correctly or is it your 4:09 AM reply that is questionable?
How can they work great if the tire now rubs in the front?

I had the front raised up a tad, no more rub. Smaller or stock wheel/tire combinations should be fine. Ive got 245 tires on 18" wheels. IIRC, they are 8.75" wide and the offset is something like 33ish.

The added caster I'm told is what's giving me a heavier feel and more secure feel on the highway. Steering response is better and the bushings are still intact several years later. These will likely outlive the car.

you can literally get cheapo ebay bushings for 15$ each and fill them with window weld and they will stiffen and last 10x longer. Ive run them for 10 years without tearings

Rockauto has Mevotech replacements for compliance bushings cheap. Paul, our star master mechanic in Northern NJ is putting them in next week along with new upper and lower ball joints. We'll see how it all works out.

Stay tuned .................
