Popping Noise When Going Over Bumps

Hey guys.. I just noticed this morning that my car makes a popping noise when I hit a small bump on the road. Does anybody know what's wrong? I believe it's coming from my passenger side front wheel-well. My car just hit 136,000 miles and I haven't replaced my shocks since I bought the vehicle @ ~95,000 miles.

It could be your sway bar bushings and end links. I am at 85,000 miles and plan on replacing mine soon.

It could be any number of things. Ball joints, sway bar end links, etc.

Might be links.....does it still have original shocks? You should be due if you do...best way to find out is put the car on a lift

Yes check the end links from a break- I give you 9 to 1 odds on the endlink being the issue. You probably broke the rod of one on of the links. Do you have the stock swaybar or a aftermarket?

Check side and front motor mounts too...

same issue to me just happened. its the endlinks. Would this be covered under my warranty??

Think it might be my sway bar bushings. My mechanic told me my lower control arms needed replacement when he was doing my brakes. I'm going to have the bushings pressed out and have new ones pressed in when I get a chance. Hopefully that solves the problem.

As long as you're having something pressed, I'd look into firmer ones.

OEM bushings should be fine right? I heard the 07-08 bushings were softer than the 04-06 bushings.
