Polishing stock wheels?

hey guys, does anyone know how hard it is to polish the stock wheels? or if it is even possible i know i saw a guy that looked like they where polished and really like it since i am saving up for big boy wheels

stock wheels are painted.
can be washed, clayed, polished, waxed.

but something tells me that your definition of polish is different than mine

pretty sure that i am thinking the same thing as you, like sand down the wheel untill its just the bare metal then polish and make em shine

the stock wheels are painted.
if you sand them down, it wont be shiny underneath....

really? im helping my friend do his fhat 5s for his gti and its just taking forever to get them to shine and alot of polish
