If I stick with stock 2000 rims, do you think I should upgrade to 215/55/16 Michelin Pilot A/S? Any input??

One more thing, if the overall diameter is reduced from 25.6 to 25.4 and the revs/mile increases from 813 to 818 according to Tire Rack.com, is that gonna mess up anything? I know the speedo will be off a bit, but my concern is tranny and ABS sensors things like that? Any help anyone?

After calculating the sidewall thickness adding to the diameter of the rim, I found out having 225/55/16 rather than 215/55/16 will be much closer to the original size in both overall diameter and circumference. However, I worry if the tires will rub anything when loaded with people. Anyone has seen or known of any one doing it? Please help. Plzzzzzzz, I want to get rid of the stock tires.

You shouldn't rub, even if dropped.

hey kj32, I'm not telling u to buzz off or anything like that but next time when you have a question like that, you could also try running a search the very question you asked had been answered more in more than 10 different threads and you also might find out something else interesting in those threads as well. I had your question like a little while back and man, I got an info overload on all sortsa things along with my answer For example, there was even a tire size calculator posted in one of them so that you dont even have to manually play with your numbers to get a match and there's another thread that has stats on a lot of rides with their tire size, rim, drop, and rub issues or not.
