PLEASE HELP!! Need help wheel sizing and fitment!! SOS!!

I'm hoping to purchase 20"x7.5 Eurmax 056 with a 30 offset with 225 tires for my 04 TL (AT).. I have NO knowledge of wheels and customizing cars. I need some help please. My goal is to purchase 20" chromies that i can take out the box and put right on my car and be set to go. Will the Euromax wheels grant me that or am I screwed? If so what offset, etc. for 20" do i need?? Your help is MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Well, I had an 18x8" +30mm offset with 245 tires on the TL for a short time, and it was perfectly flush with the fender... So a x7.5" with +30mm should be slightly tucked.

Why the hell do you want to run 225 tires tho? You should at least get an 8" wide wheel, and get a 245/30-20. That is only 1.8% bigger than stock... Should work fine, as the 245/35-19 I'm running now are 1.7% bigger than stock...

That set up will move the wheel out 9mm (@3/8") farther than stock and I can't see where that would be a problem, but are you dropped? But a 7.5" wheel and 225 tires????

Only problem is that 245 is too wide for a 7.5" wheel...

According to Tire Rack, using the Continental DWS Tires as examples, 225 is the widest tire that is recommended for a 7.5" wheel.

Nothing wrong with a 225, just that it's a pretty narrow tire for the TL. You're going to look like you're driving on 4 temporary spares

^ I agree those wheels and tire width will look small and give it a wierd look from behind.. Im riding 20x8.5 with a 245 tire and even those look a little small.

Yup... It's especially more pronounced with bigger diameter wheels... 225 on a 16" wheel looks good.... 225 on a 20" wheel will look like a bicycle wheel

Thank you so much for your help!! I've decided to scrap the Euromaxes and go with the Elements Lithiums that have a 8.5 width. Once again, thanks for your help!!!!!
