Please help me pick wheels (lots of pics)

Due to my worn Turanzas, I decided to buy some new tires and wheels for the summer and use my stock wheels for the winter. Please give me your input on the following wheels. I’m curious what others think. I don't know much about each vendors rep for quality so pls comment on that as well.

I would like to do the ASPEC suspension someday, but we’ll see. Finally, 17” vs 18”, what do you think? I like a soft luxurious ride but I also really like to drive…

I pulled all the pics off the web so I hope I don’t offend anyone by using their pics.

FYI: I have the Abyss Blue with tinted windows. Thanks!

My 1st choice is the TSW Mondello in Hyper Black (chrome is too $) 18” only.
Below is a pic of the Mondello on a G35 and BMW.

My other choices are all very similar (split 5 star)

American Racing 17” CASINO CHROME:

The Wheel Group Vertice CHROME:

Akuza Sublime:

Zen SPI:

Enkei ZR-1

Personally bro, I would highly reccommend something a little more lightweight and a little more sophisticated. Volk Racing has some of THE BEST wheels money can buy. And, theres so many styles, you can't not like at least one! Follow the links and enjoy!

Thank you for the reply! This is the kind of info I was looking for. I looked at Volk but it seems that they are over my price range. I was looking at $200/wheel or so.

I did not look at that specs but I thought that the weight of the wheels I picked would be reasonable, but I guess you're saying that not so. I do not want heavy wheels that will decrease performance. I'll look into that more.

As for style, I too want something sophisticated and not cheap looking. I thought the TSW Mondello or Akuza Sublime were nice. What do others think?

Finally, another wheel I like is that TSW Montage, but I didn’t know if I wanted it because it's so similar to the stock wheels. Thanks again and any comments would be appreciated!

For your budget TSW and Enkei are a good choice. I personally don't like chrome rims but whatever you choose I am sure you will enjoy it. Good luck.

I really like those TSW Montage wheels. They aren't that similar to the stocks. I think the HP Evo's would look good on your car as well.

In your price range, and they have a nice lip.

The Enkeis are very nice wheels. The only downside to TSW is they use a softer metal in their building process, so the wheel will bend easier. My buddy went through 3 sets of TSW's on his Civic Hatch b4 he finally went with another brand. Good luck on you choice and be sure to post pics when you get them!

If you have 6mt, zr1 will not fit w/o spacer. I'm not sure of the fitment on an auto. I like the zr1 quite a bit (much better than the rest of your choices).

If you like the split spoke, there are quite a few owners here with ADR sterlings..check the fitment topic in this forum.
