Plasti Dip & Glossifier

I am sure this has been done a lot before but I just wanted to show anyone who is interested in plasti dipping rims this is what it looks like. The previous owner(s) curb rashed these wheels hardcore and the wheels are also an ugly grey color so Idk if they are replicas or just not taken care of... The black didn't come out how I expected so I might peel it off and do the Gunmetal grey.. It looks okay for now... Thanks

lookin good!
with plastidip, it's hard to get the correct color you want. I didnt even like the gun metal grey....but i didnt use the glossifier.
there's also a metallizer that changes the color as well

play with all the top coat finishes, like the gloss and metallic top coats. those will change the color!

Update

I got my new tires put on and Honda happened to rip off a lot of Plasti dip...
I drove around with half black and grey wheels for a while..
My friend told me to just remove the plasti dip, sand and use actual paint on my wheels..
The black plasti dip was ugly after a while anyways and I felt like I ruined my car a little..
I got some paint and painted... Just wanted to show what they look like now..

Thx

I want to paint my wheels; but I'm scared of taking off the factory paint/clear from my TE37's. they were finished in white and I want to do a Silver metallic like you have done

TE37's.. The dream... I saw $600~$800 and was gonna pull the trigger (Bronze) until I had to multiply that price by 4..
