Hi i wonder if the Pirelli Winter 240 SnowSport Size: 235/40VR18 would fit the Acura A-spec 18" wheel? Also if i get the rims from the dealer does it come with the TPMS ?

With the TPMS installed to the wheel are we able to change tires ourself???

vc123, yes, the tires will fit without any problems.

As for the TPMS, if memory serves me, the TPMS is actually part of the valve stem assembly and not the rim. This being the case, they would have to be ordered in addition to the rims. Any competent tire shop should be able to instruct you on mounting tires with the TPMS.

BTW, unless you're putting the TPMS on a 06 don't bother as the 04 and 05 don't support this feature. It's built into the 06 electronics and displays through the same info screen in the dash that the HFL, trip and service minder use.

my tl is a 06 and it coes witht he tpms system but i heard that if u get after market rims u have to get another set of tpms ?

you can get a new set but you can also pay to have the old ones removed from the stock wheels. This would require the removal of the tires and then the TPMS system. Its up to you how you want to do it.
