Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S Tire Pressure (PSI)

I recently purchased the Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S tires for my '04 TL. These tires are fantastic compared to the old EL42s. I have a question though... what is everyone running for tire pressure? I'm more concerned with good wear than good cornering (although both are important).

Can you let me know what you're running in both the fronts and rears for these tires? Or what you'd recommend?

Thanks in advance!

I run about 35 all around also. They seem to handle quite well with that amount of pressure.

HEK and other PZero owners,

How do your 245 look on your rim? I no longer have a flat sidewall or the little "valley" between the rim and the rim protector. I am beginning to wonder if the Firestone mounted my tires incorrectly or if the 245s inherently look different on our OEM rims. The EL42s and other 45 series tires I used to have all have a little "divot" all the way around between the rim and where the sidewall starts. My tire itself now looks more like a 65 series tire where the rim is touching the actual sidewall. If anyone can take a look and let me know, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

dsc888, sorry but I'm at work right now and don't expect to get home any time before 9pm tonite, but unless someone beats me I'll take a picture and post it here...in a nutshell the sidewall is beyond the rim and the thread patter is so agressive it looks even wider than 245's...

On another note about the pressure on my Zero's is that I keep the back ones lower because not one person has yet sat in the back of my car and 98% of the time it's just me in the front, also I decided to keep with the owner's manual suggestions.

HEK,

Thanks a whole bunch. I am on the fence about taking the car back to Firestone since I need to see the tires on another TL before I can ask them to redo the mounting. If my tires are seated properly, then I will leave well enough alone. Thanks for your help. I look forward to your photo.

Looks nice. I was out tire shopping today and was contemplating tire sizes. On another thread someone was running 255/40/17 and the tire width looked wicked. I'm also contemplating on the 245/45/17 size. Decisions decisions!

I was also contemplating buying the 255's but I was talked out of it by the same ppl that sold me the PZeros....after reading the post where Inaccurate, took a gamble and was happy I felt I had been ripped off or at least not told the truth about the widest "fit" on the stock rims, but after reading the post and the comments made by others in regards to the change in mph/ actual vs what the odometer will read due to the difference in the diameter of the these and also having noticed the small difference in the "look", I'm happy with my decision and no longer have any regrets....hope you make the right decision...
