Pirelli PZero Nero M&S

I have about 20,000 miles on my Pirelli PZero Neros. I've been generally pleased with these tires, but they don't provide great traction on icy roads.

So far I don't notice much wear on them. What's the average life of these tires?

I've had mine for over 35,000 miles now .. and they're about spent .. so i wouldn't push past 30,000 miles if i were you .. but of course it all depends on how aggressively you drive/corner/etc

what size did you buy and at what psi do you have your tires... I found that keeping my tires at 32-34psi allows me to grip a little better on the ice
I am running 245/40-18 (falken 912, not nearly as good a tire at the pzero m+s

I've had Pirelli PZero Nero M&S thru one Boston winter, 5k miles, and see very little wear. Have lost traction onece or twice stopping at very low speeds <10mph, otherwise have driven OK in snow/slush conditions at up to 60 mph

I had the PZeros two seasons ago, loved them. I now have Potenzas on 18 aspec rims ... PZeros were stiffer and felt like car was on rails, but rougher ride. The Potenzas are softer yet spongier and give me less control taking high speed corners.

I put winter tires on, Dunlop M3s, the PZeros blow in the snow. I would buy the PZeros again.

i have 27k on mine and they still look new. they are not snow tires, but i have been very happy with them this winter. they really only get bad when the snow is REALLY deep.

I'm at 28k on my PZeros and can say that these tires are great in the dry and wet and really aren't meant for even light snow. They were OK for the first season of light snow here in Boston but I wish I had snows for this season. The ABS kicks in very easily and I end up holding up traffic when I go uphills since I can't get any grip. The tread pattern looks like it's not designed for winter use. I will be getting rid of them this summer.
