Pirelli P Zero M-S

Pirelli P Zero M-S
Just installed my new P Zeros today.
All 4 tires were mounted with the 'Inner' stamp facing out.
Does this make any difference with regards to tread direction and ride?
Also the installer filled tire pressure to 45lbs?
Does this seam high? Any benefits to have that much PSI?
Thanks for the feedback.
Snax.

Snax,
To answer your questions....
1) The tires need to be mounted with the word "Outer" facing outside. I specifically told the tire installer to look for the word and they were all done correctly. The tire is NOT directional but the tire has a tread patterm that is optimized for corning on the outside shoulder of the tire and more "siping" on the inside to cut through snow. Go back and tell them to redo them all.
2)You do not need 45 PSI in the tire. Your ride will be much rougher and you will wear out the center of your tire very quickly. Also, you risk puncturing your tires more over sharp objects on the road. I run 35 PSI all around.
Hope this helps. I posted a review of the same tires just a few days back. Hope you got to see it. Take care.

You should see the word OUTER on all four tires or you had them mounted incorrectly...and 45 lbs..wow you must like the vibrations of the road...personally I have 35 PSI Front and 33 PSI rear....

45lbs too high for everyday driving
dsc888 is correct on all counts.
The only benefits to having tire pressures pumped up over 40 lbs. are 1) to stiffen sidewalls for autocross/road course purposes (not drag strip, though) and 2) possible higher mileage, depending on tire design. See dsc888's post re: higher pressure tradeoffs.
Have installer re-mount your tires and put in 32lbs(stock recommendation) to 35 lbs. per tire. HEK's setup (lower rear tire pressure than front) would decrease understeer at the limits.
