pics of my staggered Varianzas

They've been on for a few weeks. Finally got a chance to take pics with a clean car.

Wheels are Work Varianza T1S in machine silver polish. 18x8.5 +37 offset in front and 18x9 +34 offset in back.

Tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons. 235/40/18 front and 245/40/18 rear.

Lowered with Tein SS coilovers.

Ray does it rub?

stillhere153 05-19-2008 03:39 AM

he's sitting to high for it to rub... without rolling the fenders it'll rub

Ps. you should put the 18x9 in th front :2cents:

Thanks. I had to roll the rear fenders since I'm not running a stretched tire or additional negative camber.

enigmaos 05-19-2008 11:38 AM

very nice!

First, the car looks great with the wheels. This wheel is one of the few 18" wheels that look good on the TL.

Second, I think the extra 0.5" in the rear was a waste. This is not a "true" staggered look. There is no difference visually so I think you should have gone with the 18" x 8.5" and 235/40-18 all around. :2cents:

They are A-disk front and O-disk rear, but yeah it's not a typical staggered setup.

Looks nice, Varianzas are my favorite....any particular reason you didn't want to go with a 19"?

Mostly because there's just too many pot holes to dodge here. A little bit because of the all season tire selection and cost difference.

I'd planned on running something like gunmetal Emotion XT7s, but the Varianzas were always my first choice. Then I found an end of the year deal on the Varianzas that was too good to pass up.

How much are you dropped?
By the way, I'm with you on the tire selection issue...besides that, the 40's will probably last a good while

Such beautiful wheels, but such a small size. A little disappointing, but they do look good.

Not sure how much I'm dropped compared to stock. I just dropped the front a little more to even out the wheel gap. I'm now at a little less than 25.25" from the ground to the fender in the front and about 25.75" in the rear. Bout a 3/4" gap between the shoulder of the tire and the fender.

And thanks everyone for the compliments. I know it's not that aggressive of a setup, but it turned out just like I had hoped/planned which feels damn good
