I like these better but I think the offset is too high.. I say try to go for a lower offset. Otherwise you're going to find yourself wanting to add spacers in the future.. and you should try to avoid that at all costs.

Spacers are exactly what they are named, they put more SPACE between the hub and wheel to push the wheels out more and make them look more flush with the fender. If you have an offset of 45, and you get 5mm spacers, then essentially you will have a 40mm offset. Get it?

I really dont understand why people put spacers down so much. They're really not bad at all. As long as you stay within a 5-10mm range, there's really no risk at all using them. When you get up to like 15,20,25mm it starts getting kinda suspect.

Oh yeah, get the gunmetal Tenzos.

No problem.

Im actually a really big fan of this wheel, I think they look damn good. I thought they were just alright before, but I saw a blacked out GTI with them in person and it definitely changed my mind.

I like the looks of the Type M but the only thing that would hinder me from buying them are limited offset selection and they don't come in 9.5 or x10 widths. But for someone that don't really want such an agressive set up then these would be perfect.

If you are thinking of getting these wheels I would either go for the matte black finish with a red stripe (Time Attacks Look a like) since your TL is black. It would look pretty sick!!! Otherwise, I would go for the bronze color to be different.

Any one of the 3 finishes will look good on your NBP. With ANY set of aftermarket wheels, GET centercaps, IMHO.

I like em. They're purdy. Not a huge fan of some of the writing on the face, but the style is HOT!

^ yea this is his daily driver... i don't think he wants a stagger nor to have to deal with rubbing of any sort

I spoke to him on aim regarding the wheel... 19x8.5 +45 with 245/35-19 is my suggestion to him so he avoids any chance of rubbing

and for the spacer recommendation... 245 with a 45 is flush enough (for a daily driver)...

^ like i said not that much of a differance he's already on low pros how much more comfort can you get? hell if comfort is what ur looking for than i suggest you get 17/ 8.5 and run 245/60/17. guaranteed you can even run over a dead body and still wont feel a thing, also if he's gonna run some coilovers the ride wont be as comfortable anyways common now!!!! hahahahaaha this is fun i'm just trying to express the way i feel... no hard feelings fella's ....

do spacers pose and risk to the wheel itself or would it just look different? I have a WDP and am thinking 18's....I would run a 235/40/18 michilin pilot a/s plus. Do you need a hubcentric ring for these as well?

Guys,

Stupid question cuz i don't know crap about cars. Will these fit my 06 tl???http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=7&vid=009435

It says the bolt pattern is 5-100 but the title says 5-100/114 so im guessing it will fit but my friend that works at the autoshop says otherwise. thanks in advance

Those wheels will fit its a 5-100/114 which means it will fit 100 and 114 vehicles. Our TLs are 5x114.3 so you are good to go!

Not sure if anyone still reads this thread but I just got in Type M Tenzo (black with red lip) 19" with 45 offset. Since I have the type-s, I have a problem with the brembo front brakes. They are touching the new wheels, just barley, if I could push them out just a little bit, I think they could work. Is it worth getting a small spacer or do I risk hurting my car or new wheels?
