Performance Springs?
I have been debating whether or not to get high performance springs for the past several weeks now. I would like my car to be about an inch lower and I would also enjoy the imporved handling. I have a 2005 TL with 19in staggered wheels and tires but I have rolled the fenders to make sure there is room for the car to be lowered. I don't want to get full coilovers because I am a college kid on a budget. My questions are what are the best springs for the money? My car has a shade over 40,000 miles on it so will I need to replace the shocks too? How much will it cost to have it all installed professionally? Will it void my extended warranty? Will this affect the value of my car when I plan to sell it in 2 years.

your powetrain warranty shouldn't be voided but it is up to the dealership honoring the warranty. I would call and ask before you do it.
If you want to save money I heard with a lot of people going with the neuspeed supercup kit. You can always go with the usual setup of tokico hps with any spring set up. If you dont want to go too aggressive just get the sport springs. H&R sport springs, Eibach, comptech, progressive.
Value of your car is in the eyes of the beholder and who plans to buy your car. As long as your asking a reasonable price for your car and not expecting people to pay for the mods you have done to it then you shouldn't have a problem with value on your car. Unless you are a person that tacks on every mod you did and add it into the value of the car.
As for installing the suspension I am sure there are local Aziners with a simple payment of a case of beer and some food they would help out.
