Performance mods: Wheel/tire combo!

I do not own a TL yet, but has anyone thought of going the rims/tires route first?

The stock Type S wheels weigh 24lbs, I was thinking of going with wheels that weigh in about 17lbs (RPF01).
Grippy tires like the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I currently run them in my '13 5.0 (295/30-20).

I'm planning to do this as my first mod and keep car stock... maybe!

TL would be a smaller rim combo, 17" front and 18" rear.

Where did I mention TL was rwd?

I'm probably going to stick with 17 front/rear.
