Hi everyone,

I have searched many times for this info and came up empty. I am searching for the paint code/color # of the 04 18x8.5 a spec wheels. I have the part # of the wheels but wanted to see if anyone knew color codes. I will check with the dealer but wanted to be on the safe side as they are discontinued. I have read threads of people ordering this color rim and getting the wrong color sent. Your help is much appreciated.

I feel you on that. Just bought my stepdad's 04 aspec and he curbed the crap outta his set. I asked at the dealership and they don't know where to get it...shocker. Anyway, I bought the duplicolor one for rims and it's TOO DARK. Yesterday I finally went and picked up a few small import metallic silvers that I thought might work. I'm gonna give it a whirl. Sand down the ridges from the curbing, tape up and do a light spray just to mask the color differential. I'd rather do that than spend 300 bucks on fixing them. What do you think?

That may not be a bad idea, hopefully one of them matches though. If it doesn't match i guess you'll have to paint the whole rim the new color to match as well as the others to match. May be a little risky but I am no expert by any means on color matching. I was looking for the color to paint a set of 06 split 5 spoke stock 17's. I've already broken a wheel on a pot hole so 18's would be even worse. so I want to stick with 17's and just have the gunmetal color. Thanks for the info on the dealer not knowing a thing...shocker is right. Good luck with painting yours I hope you get one to match. Let me know how it turns out, either i paint it like yourself or get them powdercoated.

I have the 04 aspec rims but don't know the color code. Tried looking on my original bill of sale but no luck. My exterior color is anthracite and that code is NH643MX. Can't say if thats the same code for the wheels thou.

I think the asm or am paint mixed and matched is the closest color. FYI I meant touch up paint.

Psyco, ssm, thanks for the replies. I still am going to check with the dealer or possibly acura usa to see if they know anything. But good info and if i can't find anything out for sure then hopefully your ideas will pan out for what i'm looking for.
