I've had Goodyears on my suv's and cars. No disrespect to the guys who have them, but there are way better tires for the same price, and lower. When they are new they are great, but my experience is that they tend to wear very fast and become noiser as they go lower, specially if you are a spirited driver. I know this is what is supossed to happen, but with Goodyear tires it happens a bit sooner than what the tires say's it's supposed to do! I believe Turbonut may have better data in regards to these tires, and maybe better alternatives for the price you pay on the Goodyears. My humble opinion!!

Vibration

Just had a tech at a local performance shop blame vibration on these tires. Anyone have this issue? They claimed he worked at Goodyear here in Central Ohio previously and many complained of this.

I have the Eagle Sport A/S, which I believe is a replacement for the Eagle GT. Very grippy, very quiet and at 28,000 or so miles, still a lot of life left. No balance or vibration issues.

IIRC, the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires were problematic (including for some 3G TL owners) and a lot of them were returned before they were discontinued.
I haven't heard about issues with any Eagles, though.

Bought these tires about 10 months ago. Compare to the BF Goodrich Super Sports.......BF hands down. Eagle GTs have too much vibration and handling isnt all that great, but then again I really cant compare them that much as my BF were 245/45/17 and my GT are 255/40/18

Thanks man, I think they were idiots. Found the issue in the inner CVs, working on pinning it all back together. Sleeves popped out of the LCA while removing the ball joint. YAY!

I have to say they sure are much louder on the highway compared to my Michelin Defenders I had on the 2008 Impala I just recently owned. From that to the TL I could care less the road noise is greater.
