Opinions on Black Type S Rims?


Still have to get the plastidip off of the lugs, but i cant decide if i should keep the rims black..

Its not plastidip.
I believe it is powder coated. I bought the car used and the rims were already black. As for the red A. its just stickers applied to the rim

Gotchya, my rims are scraped up from previous owner, so decided to dip nd get opinions before pinting them black. I think the black goes good with cbp tho.

I'm personally not a fan of full out black, but maybe a shade or two darker than OEM dark gray is nice. So my vote goes to dark gray looks best on the type s waffles.

I like black wheels but my problem is the first picture you took. You can't see your wheels in most pictures. If the sun isn't shining directly on the wheels when you take a picture it's hard to make out how the wheel is styled. It also kind of looks like you never clean your wheels. But I generally do like seeing it in person.

Depends on the car color. IMO it's too 'blacked out' with that CBP, although maybe it's just too dark outside in that shot
